One World...

Last year a friend of a friend of a friend passed along information regarding little Noah Biorkman, a 5 year old who wasn't expected to make it to Christmas due to an ongoing battle with cancer. So his family decided to have Christmas early and the only thing he wanted was Christmas cards.

So the word was passed. I posted this on facebook as well. Many of you helped. Now in my own little world, I worked on several cards because I didn't want him to just get one card. I sent pictures in my cards that were Christmas related, NY Rockefellar Plaza, my lights on my house and Zorro. Word passed, around the globe. Noah, recieved over a million pieces of mail from all seven continents. The response was staggering.

November 23rd, Noah lost his battle with cancer and passed peacefully at his home.

I think about him and his simple request and the response by so many. Everyone who responded "went to work" and made Christmas for him as well as his family a special one.

There are good people out there.
